Our History

AmeriGuard was founded by Lawrence B. Garcia in 1982 as Aztec Global Security, providing security and investigative services in the Central Valley and Bay area. In 1997, the company was honored by the City and State of California as Minority Service Firm of the Year. In 2000, Lawrence D. Garcia took over the company and renamed it AmeriGuard Security. Today, AmeriGuard is a nationally recognized security firm within the Federal government, committed to providing exceptional security services to our clients.
